
Emike Aken’Ova is an Operations and Administration specialist in the field of Maritime Security in the Gulf of Guinea where she plays her own little part in contributing towards the safety and security of maritime activities in the region.
Joining Rotary as a second-generation Rotarian in 2016 and becoming a member of the Rotary Club of Abuja Federal, Emike has proven herself as a valuable asset to the organization. Her extensive service in various capacities within the club, including as Club Treasurer (twice), Admin Director, Public Image Chair, International Service Director, and Membership Chair (twice), underscores her versatility and willingness to take on responsibilities that contribute to the club's goals.
One of her standout achievements is her initiative in leading the establishment of the club's award-winning annual Blood Donation Drive in 2019. This initiative is particularly significant in a country like Nigeria, where voluntary blood donors are scarce and blood donation plays a critical role in healthcare efforts. Emike's leadership and organizational skills in spearheading this drive demonstrate her commitment to making a tangible positive impact on the healthcare sector and the lives of those in need.
